I want to thank you for all your time and hard work. I started teaching on Monday and I am enjoying my experience so far. XXXXXXX seems like a very good school and my co-workers and the rest of the staff are very friendly. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful! I’ve had a great experience working with Say Kimchi Recruiting and I would strongly recommend the company to anyone wishing to work in Korea.
I would definitely recommend Say Kimchi to anyone that is currently looking for a teaching position overseas in Korea. Anne was incredibly helpful with any and all questions that came her way and her email correspondence was always thorough and detailed which made me happy to have chosen this specific recruitment agency in the end. I am very satisfied with my placement and everyone at my school has been friendly and welcoming so far.
My trip so far is going great! I honestly feel so lucky to have already met the people I have met and to have the opportunity to teach at xxxxxxx. My boss is great and very helpful! Thank you for steering me in the right direction. I would recommend Say Kimchi Recruiting to anyone.
Let me start by saying that Say Kimchi sets a very high standard for Korea to live up to. Everyone my husband and I spoke to at Say Kimchi Recruiting gave prompt and helpful assistance at every turn. Their service is an invaluable aid in every confusing process that is attempting to teach English in Korea. At least in our experience, they have reputable listings with good companies to boot.
I also wanted to let you know that I have been recommending Say Kimchi to anyone interested in teaching in South Korea. If Say Kimchi ever needs new testimonials from teachers they have placed, I would be more than happy to write a few lines or submit a photo of one of the millions of awesome places I have visited since I have been in the country.
My experience with SKR was flawless. I was attracted to them by good reviews on various TEFL forums, and went with them due to their easily navigated, straightforward website. If you’re thinking about giving the teaching in Korea thing a shot, use SKR and it will all be such a breeze.
We both wanted to say thank you so much for helping us so much and for finding the jobs for us! We are absolutely loving the jobs and the city. Gwangju is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly!! It’s going to be a really great year! So thanks a million for all your work–we really appreciate it!
Then there is SayKimchi. Luckily, I happened upon their website early in my search, and it immediately made a lasting impression on me. Spend even just a little time reading their blog or viewing their videos and pictures and you will undoubtedly find that their mission comes from a place of passion, experience, and love for the places they will assist in sending you to. The people of SayKimchi lived out their own Korean adventures and know everything we want and hope for ourselves. Even though I continued to look into others, I knew SayKimchi would be the one I would depend on to get me there. Even before applying with them, they would promptly answer any inquiries I emailed to them, and always took the time to provide helpful, informational feedback.
I owe a nod to SayKimchi Recruiting. From the beginning they were very helpful, direct, and responsive. My recruiter, Anne, always gave complete and timely responses to any of my questions. In short, thank you.
I really like the kids, especially the little ones in the preschool. I also love Donghae. There is a lot more to do here than I thought there would be. It seems like there are a lot more stores and restaurants, etc. and a lot more to do in walking distance of my house than there would be in an American city this size.
Lindsay is great, she emailed us back quickly and provided us with answers to our never ending questions. Moving across the world is never easy, but Lindsay was there to help us the entire way! SayKimchi was there to help us with process the entire way, from answering our questions of initial interest to helping us book our flights.I love Korea. My time here has flown by and I can’t believe I have already been here for two months! I love my coworkers, who are always willing to go out of their way to help me. I love my students, even the stinkers, because they keep this job interesting and always have me laughing. I love the public transit system, it is always on time and amazingly affordable. I love the history, it is everywhere!
Working with Say Kimchi Recruiting was amazing and I recommended them to all my friends who were interested in teaching in South Korea. Everyone I worked with was so helpful and understanding. I had an issue with getting my visa but SKR worked hard to fix it and in a short time, I was on a plane to my new job. They answered every question I had and have been amazingly supportive.
I was very happy with Say Kimchi Recruiting! They helped me with everything and I really appreciated the effort they put into helping me find a good job. I’d recommend them any time!Once you open yourself up to a new culture, you learn to embrace it. I learned to love Korea and its people. I felt welcomed and most people were very kind towards me, which I appreciated! There were bad days and there were good days, but overall, living in Korea for a year was an amazing experience!
I found Say Kimchi Recruiting when I was researching Korea. I loved that it was smaller and started by former teachers. The agency is so very thorough with the paperwork. The agency is there for you every step of the way and really helped take the stress away. If you’re thinking about teaching in Korea, go through Say Kimchi Recruiting. It’s truly a wonderful agency!
My experience with Say Kimchi Recruiting was awesome! I wasn’t disappointed at all. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and prompt. South Korea has been amazing. The best thing about it is the people. Everyone is so nice. Koreans generally seem to like speaking to foreigners even if they speak little or even zero English.Other than the people, South Korea is just a beautiful place. There is a lot of opportunity for travel as well. It is a great change of scenery.
Say Kimchi Recruiting was there for me anytime I had a problem at work. On top of that, the mixers and dinners with other Say Kimchi teachers were a great way for me to meet people. The Say Kimchi blog gave me great ideas for what to do during my year in Korea and helped me navigate my way through foreign waters. I have only good things to say and more of them to say than my fingers have the energy to write.
When I first came to Korea, I was probably the nightmare client for Say Kimchi. I was anxious, scared, and overly eager. I probably sent out hundreds of emails to SK asking questions and staying up to date with what I needed. Not only did I always receive an email back almost immediately, but the staff was helpful and insightful. After arriving in Korea, the SK staff checked up on us regularly to make sure we were happy and things were going well. When we encountered problems at our job, the SK staff helped us through the problems and found us a new job that was a better match. Even though my first job was not a winner, I’ve always tried to tell people about SK based up the great experience I had. I often get emails from classmates about living in Korea, and I always send them the Say Kimchi link to work with.
Say Kimchi is a very organized and helpful recruiter. Why? Because they lived through all the same experiences that I had, and therefore knew all the hang-ups and pitfalls that could occur along the way. For someone like me, it’s very important to have reliable information, security in knowing what to expect and to be prepared. Of course, nothing can entirely prepare you for a whole new culture, but being organized and knowledgeable is half the battle. In addition, the Say Kimchi newsletters and blogs went far beyond simple recruitment and offered a wide range of topics for discussion and thought from travel, to culture and food, all from a personal perspective.
Say Kimchi was 100% helpful through the entire process. It was a very personal experience and I couldn’t be happier with their service. The school they have put me in is very nice with a very loving staff. Oh, and Korea is awesome! It’s been a great experience and SKR was by far the best choice!
I found Say Kimchi when searching about Korea on YouTube. After applying to a few of my friends’ recruiters and jobs on Dave’s ESL cafe, Say Kimchi stood out because of their consistent and frequent communication. This was extremely important to me; if I was leaving for another country I wanted a recruiter that wouldn’t leave me in the dark. After arriving in Korea I found my school to be professional and my apartment was perfect. Lindsay puts you at ease with the whole process and you know you are dealing with a person, not a recruiting machine. I have been very happy dealing with Say Kimchi and I highly recommend them. Professional, personal.

Lindsay has answered my countless e-mails and her company found me a job with everything I was looking for. Eun Ju was waiting to pick me up once I arrived in Korea and my first week there, friends of Lindsay and Whit gave me tours around Gwangju.
