The Consulate Interview
You’ve sent your paperwork to Korea, you have your E2 visa number, AND your paperwork is en route to your nearest consulate. Now the only thing left to do is to set up an interview at the consulate.
So what should you expect? First, take a deep breath. You’ve already got the job. So just relax but be prepared for a few questions on why you are coming to Korea.
Expect questions like:
- Do you have a criminal record?
- Have you ever done drugs?
- Why do you want to teach in Korea?
- What is your degree in?
- Do you think you’ll make a good teacher? Why?
